August Surf Program- 7/29/2015 to 8/26/2015
7/29- Wed: Group arrives at 4:30pm at LAX. Assuming the flight is on time, all luggage arrives, and no problems going through Customs, we should arrive in Lake San Marcos around 7:30-8pm. To view the students flight path online, Iberia Air Flight #IB6171, Madrid to LAX.
Welcome reception location will be on San Pablo Drive, Lake San Marcos. We will text everyone when we reach San Juan Capistrano, approximately 30 minutes before arrival.
7/30– Thurs: 12pm-3pm. Orientation/Ocean Safety/BBQ
7/31-8/2 F/S/S: Free weekend with host family.
8/3- Mon: 10:45am- 3pm- Surf Camp #1 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/4- Tues: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #2 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/5- Wed: 10am-7pm. SD Sightseeing. Please pack a lunch. Drop off & pick up location at west end of Plaza Camino Real.
8/6- Thurs: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #3 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/7-8/9- F/S/S: Free Weekend with host family.
8/10- Mon: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #4 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/11- Tues: 10:45am-4pm. Visit the CA Surf Museum/movie day. Please pack a lunch. Drop off & pick up at Regal Theater in Oceanside (401 Mission Ave)
8/12- Wed: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #5 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/13- Thurs: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #6 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/14- Fri: 11am-3pm. Pool Party/BBQ. No need to pack a lunch. Party location: 639 S. Twin Oaks Valley Road (Prominence Apts).
8/15-16- S/S: Free Weekend with Host Family.
8/17- Mon: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #7 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/18- Tues: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #8 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/19- Wed: 10:45am-3pm. Surf Camp #9 @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/20- Thurs: 10:45am-3pm. Final Surf Camp #10 /Competition @ Oceanside Pier. Please pack a lunch.
8/21- Fri: Shopping @ Carlsbad outlet mall
8/22- Sat: Potluck Farewell party @ Buccaneer Park/Beach. Potluck details will be emailed.
8/23- Sun: 8 am- Group tour begins- LA sightseeing o/n Santa Monica hostel
8/24- Mon: Magic Mountain o/n hostel
8/25- Tues: Universal Studios o/n hostel
8/26- Wed: Venice beach , LAX departure
