San Diego Coastal Homestays is dedicated to bringing people of different cultures and nationalities together to learn about each other in a fun and entertaining environment.

This Summer's program includes sightseeing tours to some of the most popular destinations in San Diego and Los Angeles as well as full day trips to Southern California's favorite attractions such as Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, and an extensive LA tour. For anyone interested in learning to surf, we offer a "learn to surf" program from June 27 to July 25, 2012, taught by one of San Diego County's premier Surf Schools- Surfin Fire.

OUR INTERACTIVE PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ALL HOSTING TEENAGERS TO TRAVEL ABROAD TO VIST THEIR NEW INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS, AT OUR EXPENSE!

What You'll Find on This Website

On this website we'll share some information about SDCH, our programs, our students and host families. The mingling of cultures and sharing of ideas is sure to enrich everyones lives. Host families will learn first hand about different cultures and societies in the comfort of their own home, while students are able to visit one of the most fun and exciting places on earth, Southern California, from the safety of a caring home and family. Both have the opportunity of building a friendship that can last a lifetime.

COLLEGE HOST FAMILIES: If you plan on attending Palomar College, Mira Costa College, or California State University San Marcos, we can help you find a family to stay with. Please visit our College Host Families page for more info.

TOTAL IMMERSION:

We can provide total immersion homestays with full freedom to do as you please.
Total immersion is good for individual travelers or for friends traveling together, sharing a host family. Two friends sharing a family makes exploring the local San Diego area much safer.

SCHOOL GROUPS: We also provide organized school group programs any time of the year. These programs can include ESL classes, surf classes and day trips to the most popular attractions in San Diego and Los Angeles.
