June 30- Monday- Group arrives at 4:30pm at LAX. Assuming the flight is on time, all luggage arrives, and no problems going through Customs, we should arrive to La Costa Park-N-Ride around 7:30-8pm.  If you want to watch the students flight path, here is their flight info… Iberia Air Flight #IB6171, Madrid to LAX.  This way you’ll know if the flight arrived on time.

July 1- Tuesday- 6pm- Welcome party at Ponto Beach, at the concrete lookout point on the south end of the beach; red balloons will mark the location.

July 2- Wednesday- San Diego Sightseeing.  8:45am-7pm.  Drop off & pick up location is at La Costa Park-N-Ride.

July 3- Thursday- Orientation/Surf Camp at Ponto Beach- 12:15-4:30pm.

July 4,5 ,6- Celebrate Independence Day weekend with host family.

July 7- Monday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 8- Tuesday- 10am-2pm  ESL class at National University, 705 Palomar Airport Rd, Suite 150, Carlsbad.  Afternoon activities (Shopping at Carlsbad Outlet Mall from 2-3:45 – SDCH provides transport), pick up at National University @ 4 pm.

July 9- Wednesday- Magic Mountain.  Drop off & pick up location is La Costa Park-N-Ride.  8:15am-9:30pm.

July 10- Thursday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 11- Friday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 12/13- Free weekend with host family.

July 14- Monday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 15- Tuesday-10am-2pm  ESL class at National University, 705 Palomar Airport Rd, Suite 150, Carlsbad.  Afternoon activities (Visit to Self-Realization Gardens and Swami’s Beach in Encinitas from 2-3:45 – SDCH provides transport), pick up at National University @ 4 pm.

July 16- Wednesday- LA Sightseeing.  Drop off & pick up location is La Costa Park-N-Ride.  8:45am-9pm.

July 17- Thursday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 18- Friday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 19/20- Free weekend with host family.

July 21- Monday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 22- Tuesday-10am-2pm  ESL class at National University, 705 Palomar Airport Rd, Suite 150, Carlsbad.  Afternoon visit to the Oceanside Surf Museum and Oceanside Harbor from 2-3:45 – SDCH provides transport), pick up at National University @ 4pm.

July 23- Wednesday- Universal Studios.  Drop off & pick up location is La Costa Park-N-Ride.  8:45am-9pm.

July 24- Thursday- Surf Camp at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 25- Friday- Final Surf Camp/competition at Ponto Beach.  12:15-4:30pm.

July 26- Saturday- Free day with host family.

July 27- Sunday- Final day with host family…  7pm- Farewell party at the Lake San Marcos Pavilion.  Host families are invited to join.  Pizza dinner will be provided by SDCH.  If anyone is interested in bringing a salad, fruit plate, or dessert, please let Marlise know.  Dinner will be from 7-8, dance will be from 8-10pm.  If parents want to leave during the dance, they are welcome to.  The Pavilion is located at 1105 La Bonita Drive, San Marcos, 92078.

July 28- Monday- 8 am departure from La Costa Park-N-Ride.  They will visit Venice Beach & Santa Monica Beach before their LAX afternoon departure.
